WTF is the deal with making movie posters?

Now as you can see, I'm a bit frustrated. See I'm trying to make a poster that's actually quite decent. Okay, I simply want to put a screenshot of my movie on the poster. Alright simple enough. BUT I can't seem to find my screenshot. I've looked under rocks and have traveled great lengths to seemingly find this particular screenshot and just put it on my poster. But I can't seem to do that. I have looked at movie poster tutorials and none has helped me. Another little issue of mine is putting some cool font on it. Now there is this website, dafont.com, and I find the font that pleases me the most. Okay. CLICK! Download, but where to put it under. You're supposed to put it under Control Panel, um... I can't find the control panel file thingie, where is it? Okay, so I put it under some random file, exit than click on the computer icon on my desktop. CLICK! Look for the control panel icon. CLICK! Fonts Icon. CLICK! Then I navigate back to the file I had put the simple little font file under, than cut, and paste it to the Fonts file, but then I get this window saying "File not compatible" or something like that, but whatever. Now everyone I know seems to have done this perfectly, downloading font, and putting their movies screenshots on the poster, but I tell them I can't perform such a task, but they won't help. Don't blame them for I am annoying as hell. But can someone just please tell me what is wrong? If no one does, that'll be cool too.

If you want to download anything, download Fraps...if you didn't download anything(of even if you did) use the "print screen" button. Open up paint, click edit, paste.

You can Print Screen it. After you do that, you have to paste it in your poster editing program, like Paint, Paintshop Pro, or Photoshop. Gimp works too. Then, go from there.

I remember when I tried to make my first poster Classic [:classic:] Yes, it is quite difficult and that is why we have a Poster Request Thread. So, if you finally give up, you can just request for one in there Wink [;)]
