    Hey Killerdan,

You should make their colors intertwine, make them matching, use outer and inner borders for the sig canvas. Etc..

Ok, when you say colours intertwine you mean more subtle grad changes?

    Hey,

By intertwining colours, I mean making the render and object canvas match. The procedure is as follows.

    1) You create a canvas size (Sig prefered: 350x145)

    2) You create a background to work at it. For this, you use brushes, which you can download on DeviantArt. Yes, for free.

    3) Before creating a background using brushes. Always make the bottom layer, white, like with a painting. You can't start making something unless you have a solid background!

    4) Okay, so you have a white background. Then, after you installed the brushes you've downloaded (You have different styles, these are: Abstract, Grunge, Vector, Auroa, and many more. Do some research.)

    5) You make a layer on top of the white background. Now, go wild with your awesome new brushes on that layer. Copy a few of those layers, try some erasing, blending, etc, etc. But most important is! KEEP THEM ALL GRAYSCALE.

    6) When you are ready to give them a colour. Then make all those layer in one layer by embing them. After than, use a couple of gradients. OR, use a simply motion blur technique using a colourfull wallpaper, and then blending it on the grayscale brush layer. Once you done that, you may insert a render, which you need to make grayscale using CTRL+U. Put that render under the motion blurred wallpaper layer, and you have a matching layer. Border, and done

    G o o d [Good] luck,
