Re: Where are the Good Gods?

Evaise strolled around through the forest aimlessly; still puzzled how his attack became such a failure. He rubbed his lower back with the palm of his right hand a little, it still hurts. Not because of the impact, the impact never happened of course, he managed to transform into his shadow form before that. He must have twisted a muscle or something as such. It was quite a throw, and it caught him completely by surprise. He wasn't ready to be picked up in the way Amaunator had picked him up, and definately not ready for the strength of which the throw was performed with. There were also the bruises after being thrown into the dark forest by the wind miracle. He curses at the winds and skies, still fatigued from having nothing to eat. Luckily, the fear from Shachi boosted him quite a bit. As he walks on, he suddenly hears a branch crack ahead of him, behind the trees, as if someone just stepped on the branch.

Kremin halts and looks behind himself. The thin stick of wood, now broken in half, mocks him.
"Haha! You suck," it might as well say. Here stands Kremin, bewildered at his own incompetence. A hunter for hundreds of years, and only once before has he ever stepped on a branch during a hunt. The sound would scare off any animal around. Not that Kremin wouldn't be able to pick up their trail easily, it was just a minor annoyance.

However, as he had now stopped he could feel a sensation he hadn't felt for days; the presence of Evaise. Kremin drew forth his daggers; although he did trust Evaise, there was always the chance for betrayal. It was almost a custom, when the youngster would feel his elder was weak and in the way, you'd remove him to become the elder yourself. Only problem with the timing was that Kremin was still the stronger shade, and had much more experience than that of Evaise, and Evaise knew this.
"Evaise?" Kremin asks the forest, no answer. "Come out!"

The youngster had no desire to show himself, nor did he have the strength to face Kremin now. Kremin would notice the change, that there was something amiss. Evaise therefore snuck off the way he came, leaving Kremin to either pursue or continue his hunt.

Oh, and sorry for the double post. I thought it was time to update about Evaise as well.

Re: Where are the Good Gods?

*Rustle. It was the sound of disturbed leaves. It did not have its origin in a breeze, for the cool air never reached the shade. There was something there, behind him, the hunter was being followed. It did not have the smell of human. Nor did he sense the presence of his comrade. He turned carefully to look. There was nothing there. Wait. A shadow caught his eye. A shadow not cast by the trees but trying to merge with those that had natural sources. He moved a foot which never reached the ground. He felt himself hoisted into the air by the grip of a cold, metal hand around his neck. His head was forcibly turned to the front once more, to look upon a slender and tall suit of black armour. It had a mask for a face, gazing him through round, thick, black lenses.*

You have the appearance of what I seek, but you seem… weaker than the Emperor sensed. You are not the pet the Gods cavorted before the Emperor. Tell me, do you kow tow before them too?

*The creature seemed more keen or finding a way of breaking free of the Slayer’s grip. So far both of Evaise’s daggers had been thrusted into the arm that held him. They now sat their inertly lodged in the metal, having not induced the Slayer to even flinch. His only reaction was to arm his free hand with his one of his bladed tonfa and point it threateningly at the creature he held.*

If you cannot talk, then perhaps you can scream?

    I don’t know what a God is!

You are like the instruments of the Emperor, yet you do not yield to me. Unacceptable. Your kind is servile, slavish. Your lack of obedience makes a mockery of all that you are. Tell me, perversion, are you a creature of the one called Oda?

    What? No!

    Then what are you?

    A…  A hunter!

A hunter? Intriguing. Perhaps this has not been a waste of my time, after all.

*The shades attempt to shed himself of his physical form was meeting rather little success. The Slayer’s grip reached beyond the physical and coiled suffocating around the essence of the creature, forcing solidity upon him. There was further rustling and half a dozen figures draped in white made an enclave of Evaise. With his free hand, the Slayer made a somewhat sinister gesture to them. Another figure, draped in black,  and emanating an aura of pure humanity, emerged from the darkness of the trees behind the Slayer. He wore a golden lotus emblem on his chest. *

There is a human female, in a settlement not far from here. The Emperor has recognised her talent and desires to nurture it by tutoring her personally et cetera, et cetera. Regretfully, this talent is not in the intellectual domain and it is likely she will refuse this benevolent offer. You will fetch her for me and kill anyone that gets in your way.  Succeed and you will be rewarded with food or power or territory or titles or compliments or the love of the most beautiful shade in the world: whatever pathetic ambitions you harbour will be met. Refuse and you, hunter, will learn what it is to be prey.

Now, are you going to be compliant or do I have to squander my evening by killing you slowly and then seizing this human myself?

Apologies to MJ, I wanted to knock out a post quickly to hopefully jump start the boards. If there's any dialogue or action you want change, let me know. It's a scene that can be edited without affecting anything. Wink [;)]

    Re: The Good Thread

Time hadn't flown as quickly as MJLover hoped it to have, either that or Kremin wasn't returning. As he was about to try and go locate Kremin, the shade appeared. The hunt had gone well, one might assume; his hands were bloody. It was one trait MJLover didn't quite understand himself; why allow a being designed to kill live? Kremin changing wasn't exactly something he believed would happen in the near future, if any future at all. Despite his flaws, MJLover did believe that Kremin was a reasonable being that simply had a different way of life. They spoke no words, a simple nod from Kremin said everything. 'It is done'. The god and the shade ventured back whence they came, towards MJLover's village. Kinfu would be glad to know, if any attack would occur, her god and lover would stand by her side.

    Meanwhile, not too far away.

Kremin swallowed, or at least tried to. The Slayer's grip was tight and made it difficult for the spit gathered to pour down his throat, it was also somewhat painful; much like small thorns being pushed down. He coughed and nodded, considering the other choice was death.

"Yes," he coughed up, "I'll help you." But the Slayer wasn't asking for help, his grip tightened, almost to the point where Evaise was unable to breathe.
"I... I..." The Slayer loosened his grip, and Evaise inhaled ferociously. "I'll do it! I'll bring her to you, just release me!" The appearance of the white clothed frightened Evaise somewhat. He tried to fight his restrainer again, but softly for the purpose of reminding his wish to be released.
    "Release... me."

    Re: The Good Thread

Finally out of the woods, Amaunator trudged on westward past the cool landscape, cleaved by many little rivers, wooded knolls and occasional rocky outcrops. He took solace in solitude and spied at life reliving in the rays of the dying light. Evening was falling and Amaunator knew he wouldn't reach Mount Doom before midnight, but ran on all the same. To humans, it was a brisk pace, but to Amaunator, it was far too slow. Eternal beings have so little time, he sneered internally.

The concept of his weapon was by now crystallised in his mind, and he considered all the enemies and odds stacked against the G o o d [Good] gods. And, in truth, he knew they would have to reach beyond the boundaries of alignment to find a force strong enough to combat Fei's fanatics. "I would rather send robots than sentient beings into this struggle... But we gave up that technology long ago." A plan started brewing in his mind all the same, but it was foolish to hope for it to work. "It might buy us some time though!"

He was muttering to himself, but didn't care. He ran up a hill and jumped off the edge, somersaulting and spinning to the ground, rather far below, once his jump had commenced. He had fallen from greater heights and simple landed in a perfect roll, jumped out of the roll like Hooligans would - maybe he would return as well! - and smiled as he continued his stroll through the G o o d [Good] lands.

    Re: The Good Thread

MJLover would like it known that Kremin = Evaise in the second part of his post. He accidently switched the names around. The one held by the neck is Evaise.

*As BattleF08 intended, so it was done. He and his ninjas had departed for his realm to make use of the faster time flow there and get some training done, leaving his daughter behind in the relative safety of his ally's village. As he would recognize her prayers among the thousands of his other worshippers, she could alert him to return when needed, meaning she would be the best person to keep an eye on things. Meanwhile BattleF08's creature Jimmy was taking his guard duty quite serious, standing guard a short distance outside the village and switching position from time to time. If the armies of darkness were coming, he would be sure to spot them with his sharp tiger eyes. Of course he wasn't exactly hard to spot either, standing over the landscape like a striped bright white tower. At least his presence would serve a role in upholding the no-doubt fragile morale of MJLover's people*

*MJLover's general Kinfu had taken it upon herself to look after BattleF08's adopted daughter in his absence. Kinfu had kept Yumeko's attention longer than would normally be expected of the young angel girl. She was at an age where her attention would easily wander if things turned "boring". Yumeko had loved the different species of flowers Kinfu had decorated her house with and listened closely as Kinfu explained things about them. This had been followed by Yumeko asking Kinfu all sorts of questions about a variety of subjects. Anything from what her favorite flower is, to what it is like to rule an army, to whether Yumeko could hold her sword. Eventually her attention waned though, and Kinfu began to find it harder to keep the child's attention. Yumeko obviously wanted to explore the village, and considering that she could fly, she'd be tough to follow around. Eventually Kinfu agreed that she could check on Jimmy alone, but not before pointing her to the location of the crèche where she might find toys and playmates later*

*In BattleF08's realm, the ninjas would not be having such a pleasant time, and their god would not either. The eventual goal would be for his ninjas to surpass the limits of normal mortals. For that to happen though, they would first have to reach their limits and be trained as much as possible in as least as possible time. They also needed to gain more experience. He was a god of course. He could push them unreasonably far. After all, he could heal every injury, even bring back the dead. He discussed it with his people, and surprisingly they were quite open to this harsh approach to their training. Of course, anything he could do would not get close to the extreme torture and humiliation they had endured at the hands of Kaiser, his follower Oda and The Dreamer. BattleF08 was going to become a drill sergeant, but he made a mental note to keep their self-esteem intact as much as possible*

"My ninjas. The next step of your training is about to begin. This is the second step of the three, and though it is not the most difficult one, it will be the hardest one. You will find yourself pushed beyond your limitations and approach the limits of what mortal minds and bodies can handle. Each of you will find your own ways to adapt and succeed the coming period. Everyone will come out of this training, having found their own unique style. From now on you are no longer ninjas with identical skill sets. You will all discover your strengths and weaknesses and develop yourself based on them. We won't leave here until everyone of you has gained the rank of Chuunin. If this means we have to continue training while people are dying and the fate of the universe hangs in the balance, so be it! I want you all the feel personally responsible. Every life in the universe could depend on the coming conflict and the actions you might take in it. I won't send you out there if I am not convinced you would be of help."

"You have a responsibility here. Not to me, but to yourself, your families, your people and to every mortal life in the universe. A large responsibility to focus on specifically the coming time however, is that to your team members. You will all be divided into groups of three. Members of each team will have different skills to complement each other. This time you will not be passing as solitary ninja. You will pass as a team, or not at all. During this training you will be responsible for the success or failure of your teammates as much as your own. Keep this in mind at all times. Your team is your life, and failing your teammates is just as bad as failing yourself."

"That said, things are going to get pretty competitive between teams during this training. You will find yourself too exhausted to move, too wounded to raise a weapon and too confused to think straight during these training sessions. You may even die. I will be putting the teams against each other during the challenges you will be facing. You will learn to outfight, outlast and outsmart real enemies. You may feel like you're back in Oda's dungeon at times. This time however, I want you all to walk into it by yourself! This time it is a choice! A sacrifice of yourself to accomplish a greater G o o d [Good]. This time you will come out of this on your own, and you will have the skill, power and expertise to take the fight to the enemy. It's going to be hard, and I will have to use a lot of prayer power to keep you all in fighting shape. I may even need to use the new Life miracle."

"Keep in mind the reasons for doing this. The large and the small. Keep your head held high during these trainings. Though your bones may break and your will nearly falter, we will not lose, but instead earn our self-esteem and respect here. From here on, there will be no more resting! Training start now! Let's do proud those who place their faith in us. Follow me, we shall begin with a run around the metropolis as a warm-up..."

*And thus it began. While every training session is in progress, BattleF08's people would built up the next challenge for his ninjas. Details of the training will no doubt be revealed when it is complete. One thing is for sure, news travelled fast in the gigantic metropolis of BattleF08, helped by the reports some of BattleF08's ninjas had brought back with them. The god was training his ninjas to face a threat that would place the fate of the realm in the balance. The god Kaiser had been overthrown by his E v i l [Evil] follower Fei, which scholars claimed had betrayed BattleF08's trust in the past, bringing the E v i l [Evil] One back into the world. The man-god was now recruiting every E v i l [Evil] in the other world to his side. As the glow of Healing was seen in and around the city the people flocked to the worship sites to lend their support for their god and the heroes fighting by his side. The boost in prayer power was certainly a welcome surprise for BattleF08 as the training progressed*

Re: Where are the Good Gods?

"Kinfu, does MJLover have any children?"
The female general looked at the child, reminded of the love she had for her god and the wanting of a child herself. She kneeled before Yumeko, stroked her hair and looked her in the eyes.
"No, not yet." She winked as she finished and gave Yumeko a warm smile. "But who knows? Maybe he'll have one in the future. I sure wish he would."
After a while of endless questions about fairly random things, questions only a child could ask and an adult had difficulty answering, Kinfu had no hard time noticing that Yumeko wanted to explore the village. A brief note that there was a playground not far from the house, and various hot spots in the village she might wish to visit.
"Jimmy has placed himself neatly just outside the village, and considering his size and your ability to fly, you shouldn't have a hard time finding him. I might just send Kadasthar to pay him a visit as well."
She followed the child outside, and turned towards her one last time before unleashing her into the village.
"I bet you that monkey is somewhere near, sleeping as the lazy beast he is. Would you be a dear and wake him up?" Yumeko nodded with a smile forming. "Well, the city is yours to explore!"

Yumeko turned to Kinfu once more and gave her a farewell nod that the general returned immediately. She skipped her way out of the garden and towards the village square, passing a handful of guards who gave the respected visitor a nod. Yumeko didn't pay much attention to the people, rather her eyes went from greek house to another greek house where wines climbed graciously up the supporting pillars and onto the roof. A few blocks away from the square she could already hear Kadasthar snore. She approached the creature; which was somewhat smaller than Jimmy, and prodded him in the back of his head. Kadasthar shrugged it off at first, and Yumeko continued to prod him a second time. He turned his head around and studied the child.
"Hello Kadasthar!" Yumeko began, "Kinfu wants you to come with me and meet with Jimmy."

The creature scratched his belly, stretched out and then stood up, revealing his size. Yumeko wasn't impressed, Jimmy was still bigger. Although, he did have golden fur which had to count for something. After much staring at eachother, Kadasthar decided to prod Yumeko back. She stumbled back and finally fell onto her back, quite shocked by the action, unsure whether to laugh or be frightened. Kadasthar had no such problems, he was pointing and laughing. Yumeko stood back up again, and Kadasthar pushed her down again, breaking into laughter a second time. A guard nearby had seen the incident and rushed up to help Yumeko back on her feet, and turned to the monkey, shook his head and thereby shutting him up as well. A bleak frown came into play on the creature's face. As Yumeko stood back up, by the help of the guard, Kadasthar grabbed her and proceeded to place her neatly on his shoulder. He pointed in the direction of Jimmy, nodded to the child and went on.

Sorry about the very straight forward story-telling, this post is no G o o d [Good]. I'm not really in a mood to write, but did it anyways, as my evening must be spent on something productive.

Might go out for a jog. Now THAT'S an idea!

Re: Where are the Good Gods?

This post is a bit of a filler, as nothing huge required my attention at the moment, but I still feel like posting. I will make a post with more ninja training in it, but this isn't it.

*Yumeko had to yell Jimmy's name several times to get his attention. The tiger creature seemed deep in thought as it focused on the horizon. "Deep" being a very relative term here however, as Jimmy isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. He bowed down a little and waved enthusiastically at the little girl and her companion. Standing guard had been dreadfully boring and he was glad to have some friendly company. To Kadasthar's slight disappointment, the little angel girl flew up from his shoulder towards the giant tiger to greet him. Jimmy and Yumeko had bonded quite a bit during the first time BattleF08 had trained his ninjas, with Jimmy having enough child-like properties to keep her entertained, and a responsible enough character to keep her out of trouble. After the two exchange their greetings, Jimmy turns to Kadasthar again*

*The creatures talk in gestures of which most subtleties probably escape human observers. It's clear the creatures are quite friendly to each other and that Jimmy at some point asks how things are going for the ape. Kadasthar replies by pointing at the village, followed by biting his nails whilst shaking his knees and making a whimpering noise, making it clear that he thinks the villagers are less than at ease with the current situation. Jimmy follows with a nod and an excited raising of his fist, indicating that he at least feels confident. Yumeko flies back down, telling Jimmy she has something to show him, and sets herself down on the edge of a building*

*The little angel holds her cupped hands in front of her face and claims proudly that she can finally do something her god has told her all about. Both creatures bend down to observe as the little girl tries to focus on something. It is obviously not very easy, as her eyebrows produce a small frown, but after a minute of waiting a spark appears between her hands, right before Kadasthar gets the urge to yawn. It sort of resembles a shimmering star. The spark grows, becoming brighter, until it begins to resemble one of those handheld child firework thingies. A bright little ball with sparks flying everywhere. It is not a miracle, or useful thing of any kind. Just a small manifested part of the raw angelic energy within the little girl. At the very least, it shows the little girl has similar affinity for controlling her energy like her adoptive father*

*The flickering has not gone unnoticed by the villagers however, as several sounds of amazement are heard. The villagers are less afraid to leave their houses, now that the gods have brought sunlight back to the land, and are wandering around outside more now that it is no longer permanently dark. Yumeko quickly stops focusing and the energy fades again. She remembers how her father was always telling his people and creature not to impress the villagers of allied gods too much. Converting the followers of an ally would be harmful to the alliance and friendship between the gods after all. The creatures cheer and clap excitedly at the trick the little girl had performed. Jimmy is a little proud and tries to applaud a little longer than the ape. The cheeky ape though, claps his hands together again after Jimmy has stopped, so Jimmy claps once more also. Kadasthar looks intensely at Jimmy, and claps his hands once more. Jimmy claps once more also, a little tauntingly*

*The ape slaps his hands together above his head next, followed by Jimmy clapping his hands once high, once low, and once behind his back. After that things quickly escalate into a full-scale dancing battle, with Jimmy break-dancing in place and Kadasthar doing Disco. The dancing quickly attracts the nearby villagers, with some even getting some instruments to add music to the dancing. They say the best parties are spontaneous, and this was certainly turning into an enjoyable festivity. At the very least it would bring up the morale in the village somewhat, granting relieve of the stress, dangers and uncertainties of the future... Meanwhile in the forest outside the village, The Slayer is scanning his surroundings to try and see if there is perhaps one of the musical TITANs present, influencing the scene. To a mind so cold and dedicated the following orders and the destruction of life, it would make a lot more sense if the scene in the distance was induced by the reprogrammed jukeboxes of doom, rather than having arisen spontaneously*

    A Muliebral Meantime

    *Earlier today on the Boards...*

In a thunder of wings and a gale of screeching, a forest of feathers was moving away from the solitary Tree.

    "Aaaaaaaaah."
    "Aaah."
    "Aaaaah.!"
    "Aaaaaaaaaaaah."
    "Aaaahaaaaaaaahaaaaaah."
    "AahaaahAAAaah!"
    "Ahaaahaahahahaaaah!!"

    "Oh, cut it out!"

The scores of wisichi had to flee from the Tree temple's boughs as soon as the TITANs' signal scrambling took effect. Even though they saw their "father Amam" plummeting to a not so swift death - it was, after all, a long fall - they couldn't do anything but fly away kicking and screaming (supra). But then without the kicking. All of them fled in their own way, lacking the directions of the Tree.

"You try cutting out that lightning in our ears, Drusilla!"
"Oooh, why does it hurt so muuuuuuuch!", Eendara interjected
    shrilly, hands on her ears.
"You can stop fussing, Eendara. We're out of Big Momma's direct environment and obviously not linked to her anymore. And for once I'm glad about it, I think," Drusilla ventured into the depths of her feeling. Which, arguably, weren't that deep; she was almost two days old now.
"Sisters, please, calm down. We need to find the others and decide what we're going to do and..."
"What about Father Amam!" Cassanna suddenly spouted, and for once, was heard - heads turned her way, ears perked up and shock painted un-smiley faces on all the wisichi Sisters' countances. She almost bit her tongue from wonder and delight!
"You're right! Father Amam!" Highflown Sícha yelled and immediately took a nosedive, all four arms stuck to her body and all four wings fluttering like hummingbirds'.
The others - more afraid to lose face than a father - went after her in a drove of seven, though not in a particularly well-assembled manner, sometimes even bumping into each other ("Hey, Watch where you're going, Sister!" "Sorry, s-s-sorry, Moira...").

Lacking the precision the Tree had been supplying them, however, it turned out to be a wild goose chase finding Amaunator through cloud and sky by simple female
sense of direction ... It was kind of a long shot, yeah.

Luckily the fate of Amaunator had not depended on his young creations; Like chicks without a mother they went around in circles - well, loop-the-loops in this case - and ended up just stumbling into one another amid a particularly thick cloud.

*Bump.* "Is that you, Sächa? Oh wait, it can't be: you breathe louder," Drusilla joked.
"Who says it isn't me?" a slightly vexed Sächa replied, which had the girls giggling.
    *Rip.*
"My skirt! Everybody stop moving!" An acquiescent sigh went through the ranks as they could hear a nasal pinch at regular intervals from a desperate Eendara trying to wrest her skirt free from somebody's bracelet or belt.
    "Haaaatchoo!"
    "Bless you, dear."
"Thank you. Must be all the cloud getting in my nose..."
"And what a lot of nose there is for so little cloud to get into!"
Cassanna crudely nudged Pinnia. There was some snickering, but generally, they tended to ignore Cassanna. Humour such as this was but a part of the reason why...

When finally they found their way out of the cloud, flapping around a little lost, the eight of them looked at each other, and mostly at Sícha.
"Don't look at me! I don't know this place any more than you do! We should probably fly around some and look for..." She was afraid to say "A body", after all, Amaunator may not leave a corpse behind if he dies. They were so young and inexperienced!
"Oh yes, let's all get lost separately. G o o d [Good] idea, Sícha!" Sächa brashly halted the seven in their tracks. The six others were now divided between who should be the leader. Division wasn't something they were used to, but with the Tree out of order, they had to fend off negative emotions on their own. Sícha or Sächa... It seemed like a toin coss for the worst name possible in a "Name The Dog" contest and the six were the most improbable jurors.
"We can't get back to Momma, so we have to do something in the mean time, Sächa."
"Yes, wonderful. Just great. And what about the others? And the eggs?"
"The next eggs wouldn't hatch for another day, so they're not conscious yet, nor can they hear. The others will manage and stick together. They won't die, but Father might!" Sícha didn't want to bark at Sächa or anyone for that matter, but Father's life was at stake! How could she be so flippant?
"Okay, let's hold a vote then. Who wants to go look for the others? Come on, raise your hands," Sächa barked. Oh yes, she did like to bark. The others gingerly raised their hands.
"No no no no. I'm the Highflown, Sächa, and I say we search for Father first!" Her voice lacked real power, but there was a shimmer of authority, if not only for her seniority. Eendara was plucking at the ends of her ruined skirt and looked ready to cry from the argumentative mood that'd gotten into them all.
"Oooh, look," Alissa gratefully cooed as she motioned to a flash of light on the ground.
"What?" "What!" Eendara nearly broke out into tears from the harshness of their tones. She was such a fragile girl - the poor dear.
"Father made it safely to the ground, see? We don't have to choose at all. Some G o o d [Good] luck at last, right?" Alissa smiled gleefully and looked a little out of tune with the slightly down mood. At least she was glad having seen Amaunator casting the heal miracle.
The eight of them perked up and Sícha and Sächa made silent peace in the space between looking back up and flying off. Onwards and upwards they were going, trying to rally the troops and find some temporary home. They were sure that Momma would either recover on her own or that Father would fix things.

*This post brought to you in Multicolor by Amaunator Wink [;)]. And I'll have you all know it was a B**** to format! Big Smile [:D]*

I figured I didn't have to respond anymore, since it's been so long and I told Kaiser he should presume Fuyushimo went with Fei. However, since the old man hasn't moved yet and I want to show I'm still alive...

    Consider this a semi-filler. Wink [;)]

Lord Fuyushimo, I apologise for the lack of activity. It seems I have been bested, it has been known to happen. I appear to have overestimated their tendency to interfere, but no matter. Yet it would be a pity if your journey here had been wasted, so perhaps you would care to join me and see first hand what I have planned? It is not far at all to the slopes of Mount Doom.

*Fuyushimo comes forward, out of the crowd, looking supremely unconcerned with the unexpected turn of events. Of course, reading his expression at this time could prove to be a bit difficult.*

Of course. It would be my pleasure to acompany you to the ominously named volcano. Where the Emperor leads, I follow.

*The deity strides to the Jade Emperor, to stand behind him, ready to follow. As he walks past however, he almost inaudibly whispers the following words to Fei:*

Since the aim of warfare is ultimate victory, your Majesty should pay no heed to whether we win or lose in any single battle. We could lose a thousand battles, and still prevail in the end. Our foes are still blissfully unaware of the full extent of your plans, and grasp at straws. They may have won a battle, but we still hold the advantage. Remember this.

*Without awaiting a response, Fuyushimo takes up position behind Fei, letting his newly acquired naginata rest on his shoulder. Through the serpent mask which he wears, two seemingly mortal eyes stare unfocussedly into the distance. Though this disguise hasn't been usable to surprise the deities in the battle he had expected, it had served as a mantle to prevent them from noticing the presence of the deity. Yet another example of how little the G o o d [Good] gods knew of their foe, Fei. The deity had little doubt that this would spell their undoing. If the mask hadn't concealed it, observers might have wondered why the deity had such a satisfied expression etched on his face.*

And god, I hate these forums. All hail the old forums! Dead [:notalive:]

    Re: A Muliebral Meantime

*Evaise was no abducter, but he had knowledge of herbs that would make his job slightly easier. A weed that, if its juice branded onto a blade, would knock out an opponent nearly instantly. It was risky though, Evaise couldn't make it vanish along with him. Despite the danger, it had to be done. He was a deadly killer, and a deadly warrior, but less versed in the art of knocking opponents unconscious for long enough to be delivered. He scoured the woods, every single corner and finally found what he was looking for. He ripped it up and placed it inside his clothes, in a small pocket around his chest level, and headed back towards MJLover's village.

There inside the creatures were still dishing out awe inspiring moves. Kadasthar pulled off a hefty combination. He moonwalked through the crowd of people, twirled two circles and grabbed his crotch, his other arm thrown into the air with the index finger pointing upwards and screamed. Jimmy's response was a risky one, due to his size he worried about stepping on the villagers but for once decided against rational thought. He dipped down and threw his leg up performing a butterfly twist, after which a gainer and the worm. Accidentally kicked a tree down during the kick of the gainer, but it created more applause than terror within the villagers. The distraction was superb, Evaise could easily sneak past and head towards the village center, but there was no sign of Kinfu. He headed upwards, towards the higher class area. He peaked inside a few of the houses and finally ended up in front of a house decorated with flowers. Kinfu was to be found inside.

Evaise found a spot between two trees that gave enough shade so he could appear, brandish the blade with the weed, and disappear again. It was a quick process, and he gleed at the success of his infiltration. The only thing left to be seen when he transformed into shadow form were two floating green blades, much easier to see than the weed itself. He'd have to act fast, in order to heighten the success of his abduction, so he barged into the house and pulled forth one dagger, piercing it through Kinfu's leg and knocking her off balance. Kinfu was unarmed, and the poison sieved through her veins quickly, causing a sense of dizzyness to knock her off balance as she tried to stand up. Evaise jumped her again, but this time Kinfu managed to knock him off of her and run towards a blade of her own; her sword. It had become heavy, keeping the balance became harder and her attacks were poorly executed. In seconds she fell to her knees, but kept fighting. Evaise brought the other dagger into her right leg, but being cautious as to not slice any vital areas such as the main pulse.

She managed to punch him off her again and delivered a headbutt to his nose. Evaise grunted, and decided it'd be best to stay back and just keep her inside rather than trying to overpower her, he didn't want to make a mistake as the stakes were as high as they were. The poison took its toll and before she realised it herself she was lying on the floor breathing heavily and having a hard time controlling any part of her body. Drool sieved from her mouth and drippled onto the floor, and it was time for Evaise to cover up the injuries and stop the bleeding.*
Who are you? *She managed to utter before going unconscious.

The hard part would now begin, to get the victim out of the village without being seen. Luckily, Kinfu's house wasn't long from the outskirts, although the walls were high they shouldn't prove impossible to climb, and the guards shouldn't be able to catch up with Evaise if he performed his duty quickly. Darkness had begun enveloping the village as Evaise patched up her wounds, and so he went off. Carrying her above his shoulders, he made haste for the walls. He used his daggers to climb; it proved difficult and strained his stamina and strength but he managed to climb above and back down again. Guards did spot him, but only as a figure climbing out of the village. Their priority was to the village, and sent only two men in pursuit and the rest to check up on the villagers. Evaise headed to rendevous with The Slayer.
