Yes, when we have people living here saying that about our army and when we have others urging others to kill us (dude with the hook) but cant deport them because of human rights, if everyone was afraid of someone/somthing getting hurt we would all be dead, you cant have people here who are against us and promote hate. The BNP is bad but after scenes like that a nessacary . Freedom is but when you have people promoting harm to our contry and its people they should be deported, if the BNP is the only group with the balls to do it then so be it.

Wow that is so ignorant I don't know were to begin. 1st off I think you need to actually look up the BNP and find out what they really stand for.

I've already mentioned some of the stuff and with the sounds of things your standing up for a group of people who condone rape, want to get all none whites out the country, want to turn Britain to a fascist state, want to get rid of all homosexuals... and the list goes on and on... because we have a few people over here that are pissed off with our army and you call all the rape, racism and fascism they stand for a necessary E v i l [Evil]?, what are you nuts or just plain ignorant. Here I'll give you a few little hints so you can understand what Britain would be like if it was run by the BNP, read V for Vendetta and look up the words Fascism and Totalitarian after that look up BNP because I doubt you have any clue on what they actually stand for or want.

Just another question these people who need deporting, which are they?.

Edit: Requesting a lock, I can't see this thread going anywhere and all that I can see that will become of it will be arguing and flaming, I think we should just kill the thread before things get even more heated.

And who exactly are these people who promote hate against our country?. Did you look up what I was asking you to look up or did you just ignore that part?.

This Pledge of Allegiance argument being a tool for brain washing, is just a dumb argument.
You need to learn to read. I was the the one who brought it up, and if you would care to scroll back to the first page you will find I said 'borderline religious brainwashing'. Now, if you don't know what the word borderline means, I can't help you. But just ignoring words you don't understand doesn't help you. What I'm saying, I don't know about anyone else, is that it's part and parcel of a much larger problem, not a problem in of itself. I am not saying the American government is putting chemicals in government cheese that make you more subservient, or that they're sending out radio signals through mobile phones with subliminal 'follow us' messages. This isn't anything sinister that some darkly hidden organisation is orchestrating behind the scenes. It's just a little thing that contributes to a feeling in America that you live in a more superior nation to everywhere else. This is not in illusion we have created. It's what we hear from Americans themselves, it's what we hear in TV shows that get imported, it's what we hear in presidential speeches. When I travel to America, it's what I experience. You are more patriotic than people in Britain are. That's a fact. We just happen to think you can be over patriotic to the point where it is rather uncomfortable. Why you have to suddenly take it personally, I don't know. The BNP are whites only. If you want to make an argument that that is somehow a G o o d [Good] thing then go ahead, but don't expect to make any friends here. But from your post it sounds you know absolutely nothing about them anyway.

I did not take what has been said in any previous statements personally, if  you thought that I did, then I apologize  because that was not my intention,  nor was it my intention to in some way insult you.  I never take things said on the internet personally however  several statements in your last paragraph are extremely condescending,  and you are better than that.Wink [;)]

You should know  in my region of the United States I am considered a liberal, though I am more of a moderate. I have been a very vocal opponent of the Iraq war, especially during the time when Bush and the media were selling that lemon to the American public. so I would agree most of that was propaganda, as for the pledge of allegiance. maybe it's latent effect is propaganda, however I just view it as a folkway.Because there is no law that you must do it. it, therefore it's just a ritual, nothing more. but as being borderline religious brainwashing. I can see where you might believe that,  and maybe it is. and if so then hopefully it will lead people to become more civic minded. like MLK jr, (He was a  Reverend and civil rights leader back in the 1960's) Wink [;)]or become more concerned with the well being of  their fellow country men. being a patriot is not always a bad thing,  caring about ones country and your fellow citizens can be a very noble thing. provided it is not fantacism. that becomes ethnocentic in nature. Which is the case with your BNP.Wink [;)]

Here's something else I find quite disturbing.

Ya'll can't be telling me this is perfectly acceptable things to get kids to sing now.

So they made a song about the President to get kids interested in government. To think I, me, can still sleep at night. There are songs about water cycles and songs about volcanoes.

    Rolleyes []

It's just a song kids sing in one school, man. To try and trump up a song about the "first black president" thinking we're all equal and we all should lend a helping hand to the heights of a Kim Jong-il propaganda marching tune ...

Really, really? This isn't a national crisis. Being generous, maybe 200 little kids sang a song about Barack Obama in the whole place (i.e. United States).

Trying to use that song as representative of the United States is like using Perez Hilton's blog as an example of mainstream American media.

Re: President Obama With a Lightsaber [Pic]

Why do you feel the need to employ apologetics against obviously negative things about your country? My point, which you don't seem to understand at all, is that whilst all these things are seemingly small, innocent and potentially harmless, they're part of something greater. To me, and I'm guessing others in this thread, songs like that are quite...bizarre.

Go onto youtube and type in 'obama song'. There's a lot more than you think.

Edit: Like oh this. People are writing these songs, getting kids to sing them. You seriously don't find that odd?

I really, really don't see why this is so disturbing. Holy Christ, they're talking about working hard and graduating and being President themselves. They're singing about diversity.

Why does that scare you? I feel like there's something wrong with you.

Oooh, they said they want to be proud Americans. Shut. Down. Everything.

"Walking hand and hand we sing, each day a little closer to the dream of Dr. King."

The song is about diversity and overcoming racism and ***. It's not like they're singing, "Obama's healthcare plans are the best, *** the Republicans and forget all the rest."

Yes I agree, national anthems are usually quite cringe worthy. Stick out tongue [:P] Though you could hardly use that as evidence of ultra-British patriotism. It isn't taught to kids either, I've only heard it at football matches. I don't think I even know the words apart from the first two lines.
