Are you going to just keep this arguement going like a 5 year old or are you going to just walk away?. I thought you said you were more mature then every one else on here but your certainly not showing it arguing over some thing as trivial as this.

No, it's actually one movie in 8 parts.

To be honest I don't find it that hard to believe that s/he's a teacher. You think this is bad you should have met my teachers... one through a student out the class because he told her that he'd never read a newspaper, one teacher threw me out of the class and made me rewrite the work because I used figurative speech to describe some thing.

No but she kept bottles of vodka in her cabinet, every time she used to freak out she would go in the cabinet a fish out a bottle. This one time the bottles were all empty so she freaked even more then started crying.... top grade teacher we had, and you wonder why my grammar is so bad... that was my English teacher.

My "terrible" arguments? There better than just picking a random number out and saying "This is how many films there will be, Ignoring that the last Harry potter film is in two parts making it 7 not 8"

And "sticks and stones may break my bones, But your silly words don't hurt me"

And about the teacher with vodka:

    Re: twilight

How am I picking out a random number, exactly? There's going to be 8 Harry Potter movies and there's only 7 books, this is a fact (meaning you can't deny it, that it's not a random number, and so on...) and so your cocky remark of "4 books, 4 movies Genius" is completely wrong. Your defence against that is just "Well yes, but one of the books is released as two parts in two movies, which makes it one movie". That's just ridiculous, and insisting you're right isn't doing you any favours.

It's two different films and if you think it's one then you should take it up with the director instead of me, since I'm not going to bother responding to random babbling.

Two parts means : One film in two parts, Equalizing as one film.

I apologize for my poor grammar on that post as what I meant was that it was one film in two parts, Just that it was too long to be kept in one film so they split it into two parts making it still one film. ( I think I babbled there)

Thus its not 8 films Its 7 films with the last in two parts. And hooray, I always wondered how you made words italic on these forums.

    Re: twilight

It's not one film in two parts though. It's two films based on one book. That's still two films. Thank G o o d [Good]ness your idea is complete nonsense though, I wouldn't like to see the consequences of this being applied to real life. That Unfortunate Series of Events film was based on three books, does that make it three films? No, that's ridiculous. Just like saying two completely different films released at completely different times completely independent of each other are in fact the same thing.
It's really very simple. Two films are two films, not one film.

But like I said, I'm tired of this. You know you're wrong, you just don't want to admit to it after you thought you were dealing some kind of epic ownage. You're just making things worse by insisting you're right in the ridiculous way, you know.

No it makes it 8, even though it's two parts of the same story it's still 2 films, they are released separately, they are sold separately which makes them separate films equalling 8 films. See if we go by your logic there is only one Harry potter movie but released in separate parts. From what I've seen of harry potter there all part of one large continuity see by that logic your there's only 1 harry potter book but in 7 parts.

You advance rank via posting, your rank doesn't go up while posting in the off topic section for some strange reason (That's why I'm only a senior member despite being here a G o o d [Good] year and a half. Your post rank doesn't mean much to be honest. You don't often get judged on your rank just on your posts.

However, in this thread you've been making cocky remarks and then insulting people for pointing out your criticisms had no ground, and then you went on to insist you were right when you know that that just wasn't true (which lead to this massive drama). When Sovvolf said the exact same thing you finally realised that you were fooling no one, and instead of facing facts you tried to make out that the rest of us were making no sense and had no valid arguments. Annoying people like that is going to get you treated a certain way, and there's no use expecting anything else.
