work dimitri some texturing work there and I liked what you did with the background out of the window I also liked how it reflects off of the table.

How ever if I could just give you alittle bit of helpfull critisism I would say that the window could have used a frame and the walls looked alittle dull without a texture.

Oki here's the reason I've been dead to the forum for the past month....
Well one of the reasons.. I have 2 characters made, loads of random props and, 2 environments made so far (got one left to do -___-)...  *zzzzzzzzz.. Last year of uni is deadly... but awesome!

Thnx a lot for comment but that's my old work It's blend shape animation. Yeah you're right , Some texture it's look dull because I didn't assign texture, but I just to used a lambert shader and change color only

Well ive been playing around with Blender latley with my sci fi project that I'm currently doing and Ive got a few prototype pics of the ship that I'm willing to show off

Thats the ship at the moment, I know it looks alittle bland for the time being but trust me I'm working on it .

And this is a close up view of the other side of the ship were its peeking into the window of my bathroom, theres a more detailed view of the bath room on the previous page if your interested. Im also open to any critisism at this stage so feel free.

May I also add that I'm glad to see Sarha's Gazebo finished I like what you've done with the light to make it look spooky and the texture work is amazing keep it up.

The rocket looks Brilliant and so does the gun, The first robot looks very nice and simple but in my honest opinion I think the body colour could do with alittle more shine, I liked the second robot too but I did think the legs could be more of a shiny sort of colour sort of like the arms, but thats just my opinion .

Wow nice work guys! Anyways I'm running a game dev studio now ! Working mainly on iPhone stuff, although got a game thats really innovative (that I cant talk about) currently being looked at by both 1st party and 3rd party publishers !

And a less innovative iPhone racing game, thats still quite cool ! Will post screenshots once we release the next batch!

Well I've been working on this for about three weeks it's been a fun thing to create it's part of my up and coming animation( Which may never be made if I don't fix a few major problems) these render pictures I don't know how big they are, if they take up a full page and its causing a problem send me a message and I'le see if I can delete this post.

I present to you my medieval Inn know as the Lion's Head Inn




This is the side entrance to the Inn and the place I first started.



This is the front entrance.



This is the, well I don't know what side this is called, it's the side with windows so people can look out the window while having a drink, notice the inside of the windows are black, that because I haven't yet started on the inn's interior.



Here's the back with the chimney, the chimney took me longer than any other part of the Inn, I tryed to make the chimney with just a texture from the internet but it just didn't look natural, it looked too blocky so I first tryed to make every Brick for it, it didn't work, I got about a quarter way up and just stopped, It had been hours and it wasn't going now were. To solve the problem I took the bricks from the sides of the wall and copied them, I then started to manipulate them and change the size and shape to make them look different, I hope it looks okay.

This next one is of the Sign I did, I'm proud of this sign and it took a lot longer then you would think to make it, I used the lionhead logo but I'le remove that at Lionheads request if I ever get to make this animation, the animation will probably going on Youtube so it's no profit, I just don't want to upset Lionhead with copyright.

It's never too early to complain for a Fable fan, you can do it at any stage; before and after the game is released, with very little or all the information about a feature, just about anything there is you can complain about.

Wow some of these shots are incredible. I've always wanted to do 3D modelling but never had the imagination to design my own things. If anyone can hook me up with some tutorials though it would be appreciated.

Well just keep trying, I would give you what advice I have but I don't have much, I'm not all that and making tutorials or giving advice, cept just stick to it and Coffee lol, plenty of coffee and a dvd on the background helps me out lol.

Well I'll see if I can fish out an old model of my bedroom I did before formatting my computer and taking ages to reinstall my 3D software.
My problem is rendering, Really don't know how to make it look and realistic, plus any animations I do come out at ridiculous file sizes and really cruddy quality

Well Sim the way you were describing your self I was expecting some thing atrociously bad, this is Sim, I'm not just saying that it's really ,if I was to be critical (Don't know if I really have the professional experience to judge any one but I'le offer my critical advice none the less) it does look alittle cubic however I haven't seen your bedroom so I wouldn't know, I don't know if your walls are grey or your carpet is that colour to judge but if it isn't my best advice to you would be (Given that you have one) to get a camera and take a picture of your wall very close up and try to make it seamless in paint then attach it to the wall, it would help me alot if I know what program your using, if it's Blender I could try and help you as much as I possibly can, any other program then no, I don't have a clue about them.

Problem is I left it too long after making that model and forgot a lot of information. But my room build was done about a year ago and took a couple of days and because I was still fairly new too it all and I cut a lot of corners. But that's a fairly accurate representation of my room without all the furnishings I've just been really struggling in the software I'm in to get a decent render output so might keep looking in to it.

Okay some new stuff.

Here's Big Black, he's a mutated spider... or a new species I haven't decided on an origin yet, he only has 6 legs and there placed on his back. He's there for an annimation I'm planning for youtube, it's going to be a more simple one then what I've tryed before.

Here's Big Blacks cave... It's dark and moist. It's only a prototype I'm going to be building upon this depending on the reception however for now this is his cave.



Here's another look at the cave, I've pot a spot light there for Big Black. I don't think that will be there for the youtube animation however for now I've put it there becuase the other cave is too dark for you to see Big Black without motion.



This is a space marine... kinda.... it's just the legs for the moment, having difficulty with the torso so I've put it on hold until I can get hold some warhammer models.



Here's a picture to give you a sense of scale for the model... it's my desk... notice that my fish tank as changed... I've got a new one... although now I've got marbels and a barrel in it... must up date the model.

Nice tank to say it's your first go, I have never used 3D max however so I can't give you any advice... cept use blender... use it... I get £10 ever time I mention this and £100 per new customer (Just kidding).

It is a program though and I highly recommend it. very user freindly.
