I know that sometimes people have problems uploading their movies online so I thought about making this Thread to help people out! It is a list of steps to correctly upload any movies you want to put online! (Sorry for no pictures, the files were to big to upload on this) Step 1: In Post Productions click on"export Movie" but before you do so make sure the viewing technology is at its best so click on the briefcase-like symbol 1 time. Step 2: then after clicking on export movie it will ask you to update audio, Say Yes, so then you can have sound effects and music for your online movie! Step 3: Wait until it ends and be sure not to move anything just let it play as if you were just watching it. Step 4:Then on the pop up it asks you were you want to export your movie say "Online" and asks you to name it in the "Output Name" part. Step 5: Then it should say saving movie or something like that. Wait until the entire bar on the top disappears and it returns back to the regular movie editor part Also DO NOT Press "X" Unless you messed up on something! Step 6: Now exit your game and go to the Main Menu part of "The Movies Game" and click on Online. Step 7: Once in the online section you should have a choice of the movies you want to upload. Upload the one you want and wait for it to complete the uploading, Then it should ask you if you want to visit your newly created movie. Say "yes if you want to see it, say "no" if you want to see it later. Hope this Little Guide on Uploading Movies Helps Everyone Out! By, DarkAnubis666 Also if you want a thumbnail all you do is play the movie and highlight the scene, then click on online thumbnail button to the right. But if you do this you will have to re-do the steps from the beginning. DO NOT EXIT OUT OF THE MOVIE HOWEVER. Everyone creates one like these If you have probs installing ptach thsi might help Download it Install it and do all options Once it starts installing canel every now and then. Go to where you've installed the movies Copy paste all patch info ( to make a folder to install all patch info) Note: Make sure you have all patch1.pak and stringbase and others. Also make sure movies.exe has its product version 1.1 And VOLA!

I still seem to get upload problems with the thumb I wish lionhead would not post the movies you have to pull right down because of a sync problem or thumb missing such is life I guess, thanks for the advice on uploading

You could save a movie to your pc by two ways, first is in the selection part of where to output your movie instead of selecting online move the selection to save on pc one. Or you can save your file while online by clicking on the download movie thing next to the thumbnail.

is there a way to upload from outside the movies game, because there is something i would like to do, but i can only do it in a real movie editor, but i dont know how to upload from outside the game

I'm new and this is a little off topic ,but is it illegal to upload movies with mods in them.

No, not at all, many movies hve mods in them, it's fine, but you're not relly supposed to tlk about moding on the forums, but your movies cn still have mods in 'em.

As far as I know, you can only upload from the game.

I do what the screen tells me,but when it comes up online there is no film just a black screen with sound, how can I get my movies to show up in colour with moving character?

Ok, I need help too. Everytime I export my movie I watch it before I post it online and see if everything turned out right. Well, it doesn't. The audio's messed up. Like the sound effects are delayed and some of the music is gone! It was fine before I exported it and it still looks fine when I watch it in movie player. What's the problem? AND do I have to pick the ONLINE option to export it online or can I pick a better quality?

Please help me. Whenever I press the export movie button, the movie starts playing, it asks me for the name at the end, and then, the whole thing shuts off. The whole game turns off. when i go back to the online part, my movie is not there, it acts as if i had never done anything. can you please help me.

I got a question... My Friend cant uppload movies it says " You hafto have a Copy " !!! What does it mean with that?

I had that problem. For me thou I was at a campus dorm, and all the computers in the dorm where filtered through a campus firewall. And it turned out that the campus firewall was interfering. So I just waited until I moved out of the dorm. But it is also possible you just happened to have been trying at a time the net was having problems, so try it again at a later date and see what happens. And I have I what I believe to be a related question to this thread. I just posted my first movie. My question is how do I edited the movie description. Was this something I was suppose to do before uploading? Is there an easy way for me to go and edit it now?

Alright I just found a way to edit after it has been posted. But would still like to know if there is anyway to put in a description before posting it on movies online?
