WOAH!!!

New items were just added to the Fable II Avatar Marketplace probably a day or so ago.

1.) Highwayman Boots
2.) Highwayman Coat
3.) Highwayman Gloves
4.) Highwayman Hat

Anyways just checked it out, may have been out for some time though..

At least the ones in bold seem new to me.

Might be some more outfits released as time progresses up to the update and afterwords.

They also added a normal hat. I think it's a hobbe hat but I'm not sure.

It's been there since yesterday IIRC - I've been checking it every day just in case new stuff was added and not notified!

C'mon Dog and Frying Pan (technically an Avatar could hold a Frying Pan cause it's a kitchen utensil and not a weapon)!

Yeah...they thought about it. Until little Susie's avatar beat her older brother's avatar with it during a party chat. But hey, anything can happen right? I mean...we do have a giant cotton swab in there.

I just hope they add better clothes as time goes on. The selection is quite...poor.

lol. I thought the same thing at first, I was like.. "Now I know this is not released until the 11th, how are they seeing this stuff? lol   I am adopting a wait and see attitude. one thing is  most of the new games will allow us to open stuff up for our avatars.

Conversely, it also means that we have to pay for other items. Personally, I'd much rather have Avatar clothing than gamerpoints. At least there's the possibility that I might do something with the Avatar... what the hell does anyone ever do with gamerpoints??

I agree, I've always thought they should either let you spend the points on fun, pointless things (like avatar clothes now) or maybe when you reach a certain number you unlock something or another.

I think what they should do is put some of the complete outfits from Fable II in the Avatar MP and have it so that you can change the color of the item....like the Xbox 360 power ring shirt...I think that would be pretty cool. And I too are curious about what the "awards" are going to be in all these games

Eh....I would be more enthusiastic about these things if they didn't cost MS points. I'd much rather spend my MS points on a arcade game or DLC or something that I can play. I doubt I'll ever waste the money on something like this

I wish they were unlockables you recieved when you got achievements in the games. I'm not sure yet if I'll spend MS points to buy these, except maybe the Hobbe shirt, I might get that one at least.

I see what you mean, like you beat the Forsaken fortress then get the Highwayman outfit for free.

 

Though I'm still hoping for Armored Core frames for clothes. Imagine, a little Aaliyah frame jumping around and tauting people when you beat them at Hardwood Spades. It'd be simple too, no weapons, just the body. With Core and Arms as a shirt, Head as a hat, and Legs as pants. It'd be epic.

I just wish the clothes were more loose fitting...
currently all the clothes hug your body way to much...
The highwayman outfit, although at first cool... if you stair at it long enough, looks more like a female Japanese robe... (no ofence to everyone who bought one, more power to ya!)

Also, certain games will have avatar accessories as reward for completing certain achievements (some games will even have achievements that don't give gamer score, and only give clothes). It's what the awards section is for right below the marketplace.

I don't know if fable 2 will be able to do it though, since it already came out... but who knows...
