    Mike McCarthy style painting?

I've been trying to find a way to do this for a while, and just found this forum, so it's probably where I should ask!
My question is what is Mike McCarthy's process for digital painting? I know he used Corel Painter, and uses the digital watercolor brushes. And it looks to me that he starts out with a greyscale painting then adds color. (Seen in this concept art http://www.lionhead.com/Fable2/artwork/femchar02_800.jpg) I've tried working this process into my painting, and here is the result of my attempt: http://jenlmae.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/dogdraw_jenl-50.jpg. Note, this was a drawing I got here in the F2 concept art.
I've been in love with the art of the Fable franchise since Fable 1, and would love to learn about some of the work that goes into making it. A video of Mike McCarthy painting would be as G o o d [Good] as gold to me! Anyone have any suggestions or resources? Or a way to contact the man himself?
I'm an art student looking into getting into the gaming industry, mostly as an environment artist and doing 3D modeling. I'm always looking for ways to improve and watching other artists work is a great way to learn and put into practice some new techniques.
    Thank you!

I had seen that site before. Didn't realize I could send a message. Though I'm sure you need to have an account first.
Thanks anyway. Be sure to post of you find anything. Still hoping to see a video or a progress series.

    Re: Mike McCarthy style painting?

god its been a while since anyone responded in this place...anyway for those who care (few i believe) i asked Mr.McCarthy what his process was and this is the answer i got (its an extract from an email)

"I usually use the watercolour brushes in painter, as this picks up the grain of the paper background nicely, and save the image as a RIFF file to keep the layer "wet". I then work in detail on a layer over the top with either a very thin airbrush or pencil tool.
I am not the most confident user of colour in my images, so tend to go for a rather muted colour palette initially, and then pick out ares of either warmer or colder colours where I think they might belong. Its all a bit haphazard really!"

if i have in any way breeched any law about emails and confidentiality then please would Mr. McCarthy or a member of the lionhead dev team remove it...i am simply trying to explain his style and i am sorry for any inconvenience.

Whoa, thanks! I haven't been back to check on the thread in a while!
I did reach him through CG Hub, but our conversation died out and I didn't want to bug him. This is precisely what I was looking for.
