Hello all! I apologize for my long explanation, but the more you know the better the help I get, I believe.

I'm going to start with the basics. I just bought Black and White Deluxe (w/ Creature Isle) because I needed a game for my new laptop, and I remembered how much I love Black and White, so I bought it. I played it for a while and all was peachy keen. I soon found out that my CD had a patch for v1.100 on it, so I patched the game. Then I got curious and found more patches. Anyway, I patched the game all the way up to 1.3, but for some reason, when I patched 1.3, it didn't give me the p5dll.dll, so I had to go download it. Well, after I downloaded it and played with v1.3, the game ran kinda sloppy. I don't know if it was my dll that I downloaded or what, so I decided I would uninstall it and play with the files given to me. So, I uninstalled the game, and deleted the entire Lionhead Studios Ltd folder. Then I reinstalled the game. I figured I would use the patch on the CD because it was given to me. Well, the game ran great for quite a while, up until I had to pick my creature. When the choices came, the tiger was gone. Only the ape and cow were there. I wanted the tiger. Well, I chose the Ape anyway.
I absolutely hate cheating in a game mind you, but I really wanted the tiger and it wasn't there. I remember my brother using a program that allowed you to edit and change your creature.
Well, I found and downloaded this program and only changed my cretaure to the tiger. I did ABSOLUTELY nothing else. This program has NEVER screwed my brother up when he played, but I guess when I get on a game and do something like this it does.
Well, I started the game back up, and yup, I had the tiger. the game played great once more, and I was content. That is, until I saw Nemesis' creature. He was a bear (I assume that is what shows up when one chooses the ape?). Well, he was glitchy. He kept disappearing and reappearing. Especially when he walked. I was able to do the first story scroll with him and take control of the village, but when the time to fight him came, things got STRANGE.
Like I said, I could only see him at some points. So during the fight he disappeared, and when I tried to click on him, i got zoomed in really far and my creature disappeared. So I restarted the game. When it loaded back up, I was zoomed really close to water and unable to move, and the bear was telling me to make a combo attack on him or whatever. So I decided to start a new game. I chose the option to skip all the tutorial bullcrap. So it brought me back to creature select and the tiger was available again! Yay! So I picked the tiger and went through the vortex. The game froze up when Khazar tried to put down the Village Totem, so I closed it and started it back up. It took a few tries, because the game would bring up the black screen with the emblem guys on it, then a white box that said LIONHEAD would appear, and I would get an error message telling me that "lh has stopped working" and that "windows is trying to find a solution to the problem".
It does that quite frequently and when the game does finally load up it is slow as can be.
I am running Windows Vista with service pack 1 (time for an upgrade? lol). I have well over the needed requirements for thne game. WELL over. I have the 64-bit version of the Operating System. I AM running the game with the administrative rights thinggy and I am running it in compatibility for Windows 98/ME.
If there is any other needed info, I will be glad to share it.

I can't edit it for some reason, so I am going to add here, when I reinstalled Black and White it DID NOT ask for my registration code, but when I reinstalled Creature Isle, it did. :\
But, unfortunately, Creature Isle doesn't even start up. At all.
I click on it, and it looks like it is going to do something.
And then nothing happens at all.
My cursor gets its little loading circle, then nothingness.

Ok the 1.3 patch should NEVER be installed if you don't have the required VR glove .
1.2 is the only one you need.
You talking about KONG it can screw up your game big time.
In the fight tutorial the opponent creature for the Tiger is always the Lion if your game is ok. Some creature editors  just change the files to make your creature look like another but in reality if you change a cow to a lion the lion look alike will still leave hoof prints not the true lions paw marks.
The lionhead logo screen crash is where your CD is not read properly every time  get a patch to solve the problem.

The game works with all maxed out on my Vx64 with a 1680x1050 resolution tweak. That is about max for wide screen but it can go higher in 4:3.

For a clean install you need to not only uninstall properly but delete all saves and folders then use a registry cleaner or you will get old crap from the previous  installs mesing with the new game.
From clean this worked for me
Install the game
Patch to 1.2 (it includes1.1 )
Use MYTH 1.2 patch to solve the crash problem.
Enjoy the game and only use the official changers you can choose from about 9/10 on the first land and the rest during the game.

The reason you were not asked for your code again is because it was a leftover in the registry as I said about in my reply about needing to be cleaned out to prevent this .

I will try. I hate restarting the game. The damn beginning stuff takes way to long. Lol. I can deal with it, though.
The only reason I used Kong was to get the tiger. I really hate all the cheats and crap. But I am about to get a registry cleaner, perhaps that was one of my problems.

Any ideas of why Creature Isle isn't working?
And is fileplanet a trusty place to get the 1.2 patch?

Don't use a registry cleaner.  That will cause more problems.  Just use regedit and search for "Lionhead".  Inspect the entries carefully and if they look like they have to do with Black & White, first export them then delete them.  Exporting them will give you a backup in case you mess something up.

Fileplanet is trustworthy, but you may as well get them from Kayssplace instead since I know all those work.
