ok so Ive just created a movie with no problems at all...but now that Im adding dialogue the game is starting to crash quite often, almost every session...and not only just crash, but often it will shut my laptop right down (from possible overheating maybe) Anyway,is there a dialogue limit? I have a about 200 dialogue at the moment, do they take up a lot of space? any help on my crashing problem would be great, thank you

Which format is the dialouge in?

WAV or OGG?

 

WAV does take up a lot of space, so I would recommend placing the sound clips in OGG format.

I do have Audacity and have used it in the past, i still use it for my music...its just easier to do it in PP where I can talk as I see them on screen...but if it really is that big of a difference I'll definitely use audacity to finish the project

I've never been able to get the "direct record" to work without it crashing my whole PC and have always used dialogue snippets (an absolute must anyway, if you have more than just yourself voicing the characters); it's just a different way of working (plus with pre-records, you can edit the voice tracks as necessary to get rid of any pops, clicks and hisses that can ruin the dialogue well in advance).
