Micah Long opened the door of his room. Today was his sixth birthday. He lived in the small town of Oakfeild. He was allowed to go anywhere he wanted in the town and get what ever he wanted. His parents had given him 50 gold pieces. His family was rich and owned a place named Serenity Farm, or thats what the villagers called it. He knew he was on of the luckiest kids in the town. He ran to his friends house which was next to rookridge road, outside their house they had chickens and their own vegetable shop. As he approached his friends house something caught his eye. It was a small black orb. He heard the orb beckoning him. He followed obediently. The orb led him out of Oakfeild and into a old carrage house. It then went through a trapdoor in the floor. The owner of the carrage house called to him. Micah ignored him and continued to follow the orb. The owner ran to Oakfeild for help. The orb continued to wisper to him, call to him, as he opened the trapdoor and climb down the ladder. When he reach the ground there were hobbes, standing in rows along the wall. In front of Micah was a wall made entirely of shadows. As he walked towards it, he ignored the fact that the hobbes had left the walls and started fighting with the adults of Oakfeild. Micah saw a smiling woman behind the wall. She reached out her hand. Micah extended his hand and was about to touch the wall when his fathers arms wrapped around him. The lady behind the wall began to scream angerly. She shouted "We will have the boy!!!" she countinued to shout it as the adult climbed up the trapdoor.

9 Years Later...

Micah woke up screaming. He had a nightmare that the woman from the shadow wall had come for him. He then felt a lump rising up in his throat. He rushed to the window and began vomiting. The next morning he did his daily chores and went to his school. He saw his friends talking and walked over to them. "Whats up?" Micah asked. His friends gave each other looks like Should we tell him? Micahs best-friend nodded to them and said "We're going to the old temple in rookridge," Micah knew he was talking about the temple of shadows that had been abandoned after a hero saved the temple of light. His friend continued, "We are going to check it out. Wanna come?" Micah frowned, if he didnt go he would like a coward. If he did go he could stumble into unwanted trouble. It was a lose-lose situation.Micah reluctently agreed. His friend smiled and said "Great be there at midnight."

That night...Micah met his friends at the gate and they managed to push it up. As they looked around the upper part, Micah walked down the spiraling stair case. He then saw a wheel. Next to it lay a skeleton, in shadow worshipers robes. Micah cautiously walked in the room. He walked over to the body and touched the robes. About 2 seconds after he did he felt breath on the back of his neck. Believing it was one of his friends trying to scare him, as he turned around he said "Haha very funny-". He didnt get to finish his sentence. Instead of his friends it was the lady. She opened her mouth and let out a horrible scream. She lifted up her hands which now had claws and cut his across the face. He fell to the ground. She loomed over him, as he yelled for his friends. A " src="/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif"> smile drew across her face a she cut him again. He screamed, knowing that he was going to die. He continued to scream until the lady brought all her claws down into his stomach. He froze, he felt the coldness of death cover him. Then nothing. It wasnt that he was dead, it was just that the lady disappeared along with all his cuts. He slowly stood up an looked at the wheel again as his friends entered the room. "Woah whats this thing." They stepped into the circle in front of it and said, "Pull the lever see what it does!" Micah tried to tell them no but to no avail. He walked over to the lever and then pulled it. The wheel began to spin. Micah back up as it pointed to a symbol that had a purple mist on it. Micahs friends began to scream as a purple mist covered them. When the mist lifted they were shadows. They lloked at him and drew swords. Micah terrified ran from the temple The shadows following him. As he looked over his shoulders as he crossed the bidge he saw the lady with them. As he entered the city he saw it was burning. He ran past buildings being assaulted by shadows and made it to his house. His house was fine, but only for a second, He had to act fast. He immediatly began reciting a protection spell that he had seen in an old book. The ground began to shake, and a mountaion began to close up over his house. Micah ran from his house as the mountain closed and a demon door appeared. He the saw the shadows run at him. He then turned around when he heard a voice behind him. It was some lady that looked like a fortune teller. She then looked at Micah and said "Take my hand or you will die." Micah quickly grasped her hand and then next thing he knew he was inside a cave. He looked at her and said "Where am I? Who are you?" She just smiled and said "None of that is important right now. What is important is that you listen. You are a unique person Micah. You have untold powers that have not been around since the hero who saved Albion. I have rescued other Heroes from other cities that have suffered the same fate as yours. They are from far away lands so they will not this land. You must guide them to Brightwood Tower and then take the cullis gate to westcliff, then head for the city of bloodstone. Then from there sail to a small island named Knothole Island. Then when you get there you find a door that only your group can see open it and step through. On the otherside you will find your worst nightmares and fears. But you must face the Queen of Shadows to put a stop to the destruction of innocent towns. Can you do this?" She asked Micah. Micah nodded and said "Enter the Cullis gate over there to go to hero hill where people like you will be waiting. Go now."  Micah then said "Wait! What about my parents?"This question made her frown and she said "They are now shadow slaves like everyone else in Oakfeild." Micahs heart dropped. Then the woman added "You must defeat her to save your parents and the people you love." Micah nodded and Walked over to the cullis gate. He waved as it activate and teleported him.
