Is anyone else besides me wondering if the PC fans will get ignored again this time around?
I've replayed Fable: TLC on the PC countless times, and I would have loved Fable 2 all the more, had it come to the PC as well.
Is anyone else hoping that Lionhead will have Fable 3 be available to the PC fans as well?

I still don't know why they would go from supporting the PC, to basically ignoring it for Fable 2.
Shouldn't their new relationship with Microsoft improve the chances that they will release Fable 3 for the PC, as well as the Xbox?

Microsoft now own Lionhead so Fable 2 & 3 being released for the PC isn't Lionhead's anymore.

I also want a PC version, but I bought my f*ing Xbox
for two reasons... Halo and Fable... I don't understand why they can't make a PC version as well...

One problem: that's pure bulls***.
You can "chip/mod" your Xbox and download Fable 1/2/3.
PC Games sells "almost" as well as console games....
So really, what's the big problem?
Why not make a PC, Xbox and PS version?
That would make everyone happy...

I just think that Microsoft is greedy and want to put as much stuff into their own console as possible.
It's domination their after (imo), so it's kind of makes sense that F3 or F2 won't be available for PC.

Well you'd probably need like an Ultra computer to handle the graphics and well..everything, which may end in people who do not read the computer requirements getting very p....mad. so you'd need a computer with the same power as an Xbox 360 but you might as well buy a 360 for all it would cost you to get your computer that high-spec,

plus it would mean F3 having to wait longer for because they would need to remake it for PC,

but all that aside i do hope they bring it out for PC i've got nothing against it, but those are just some of the reasons it might not be on it.

Nintendo already has exclusive titles like Mario and Zelda. Even playstation has god of war as well as a few others. It is likely xbox wants its own exclusive hits. I think that is the only reason they have not ported it to the pc. I mean why ever buy an xbox if you can get all the same games on the pc?

I bought my xbox just to play the original fable because it was cheaper than upgrading my computer. They sell consoles at a loss and hope to make up the difference buy selling more games and that's why it was cheaper for me. I don't mean to sound like a jerk to you pc gamers out there but it is just to expensive for a lot of people to upgrade their computers every few years. If they can't upgrade then they can't play the game. I have never understood why pc gamers hate consoles so much. I think both have advantages and disadvantages but both are great forms of entertainment.

I think that pc gaming will continue to decline until the average computer is so people wont need to upgrade it all the time. That will happen someday but I don't know how long that will take.

This is egocentric of me, but I have a computer.
And basically, all you need is a computer that is better
than a Xbox, and computers have always been better than Consoles (preformance)

So that's not really a reason...
But I guess, that Microsoft are greedy as always....

pc games arent as profitable (if at all?) as consoles... because within a week or so,
i can easily get the game for free from rapidshare, so can any other pc user out there...

Not only is the irony painful but 'sarcastic' doesn't mean what you think it does.

If you want to play a 360 exclusive you get a 360 or wait and hope it comes to the PC. Pointing out that obvious fact isn't sarcasm. And don't go about trying to act like a moderator because someone disagrees with you, if you make a thread which has been made possibly a hundred times before then you're in no position to lecture people about posting and not contributing.

To everyone crying about 'greedy' companies: It's a business's job to make money, not look after you. They're not a charity, if you want to go moaning about them not losing money for the sake of entertaining you then you should first do something equally selfless yourself. You know, a massive sacrifice which doesn't help anyone that much.

well if fable 3 has a multiplayer option you wouldn't be able to join online with a crack game. bam. sometimes u won't even be able to download patches.

Yes I suppose almost everyone would agree to this but however even 360's are not immune to piracy how this would only mean they wont be able to go on-line even so it's still a very poor and lame excuse for any company to make, there must be a hidden agenda (I could accuse LH of many things) maybe one that's frowned upon within the law?

I'm not even gonna bother reading all these, I got the gist. Can't LH just make it so the Extremely large code (I forget the name) can only be used once? Spore did something where you can't connect to the internet if you re-use the code. So if LH does that just make the original version glitchy, so you need upgrades?
I am just brainstorming here, I mean I don't specialize in any electronics...

Arguable at least, the PC is the best system for RPG because of the control scheme. A mouse is far more convenient than a controller for handling an RPG. Look at the bunch of items you have to sort in an inventory or how you pick dialog option for example. The interface is far more responsible with a mouse. My opinion of course.

Neverwinter Nights, The Dark Eye: Drakensang, The Witcher and Dragon Age: Origins, to name a few, show the superiority of the PC as platform for an RPG! Best example is Dragon Age which is available for consoles as well, but best played on the PC because of the controls and the graphics of course.

Maybe action adventure would rather fit the Fable series as description. In my eyes it can not compete with "real" RPGs from the kind I mentioned above. The much simpler game mechanics of an action adventure also better fits an game controller with all its shortcomings.

You are right of course that Lionhead/ Microsoft makes Fable XBox exclusive to sell their system. Although MS seems to see no need to push their new Windows 7 with some exclusives. Not enough competition in PC gaming for such a step it seems. At least there is no other operating system that offers such a wide range of games than Windows does.

Nonetheless would I still like to play Fable 2 and 3 on the PC. Knowing that they would certainly be entertaining as what they are.

Everyone should boycott Ubisoft and their new Online DRM for PC games. This has gone too far in the reduction of the rights of users and I am sick of it! It is not made to fight piracy, but to control the customer.

I wish it will be for the PC too, though I have a great feeling it won't be.

But really, why not have it for both? That way, the people who prefer PC gaming are happy, and the people who prefer console gaming are happy. As for piracy, yes, it is true that games can be pirated for the PC, but they can also be pirated for consoles, so it's not really a reason to keep it off the PC. (Especially since a lot of other games that are on Xbox 360 are also on PC)

The only real reason I can think of for having it Xbox 360 only would be so there's an exclusive title so more people will get an Xbox 360. I have a gaming PC and an Xbox 360, so I can get the game regardless, but I do prefer PC gaming.
