Re: What's your favorite game ever and what's your favorite game not yet released?

My favourite game of all time is probably Super Mario World, for the SNES.

Although it's already out, I'm days away from having it, Dragon Age Origins is my most anticipated game of this year. Everything else is meh in my eyes.
I only wrote this because I hate you.

Re: What's your favorite game ever and what's your favorite game not yet released?

Yeah I can't list one, but The Movies, Oblivion, Mirrors Edge, the Sims, Unreal Tournament and Serious Sam are my favourite computer games.

    For Xbox 360 I would say Gears of War 2, Halo 3, Resident E v i l [Evil] 5, GTAIV and CoD.

Wii - Mario Kart Wii, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Guitar Hero, Wii Sports & Resort

Re: What's your favorite game ever and what's your favorite game not yet released?

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is probably the greatest game ever.

I'm also looking forward to getting Dragon Age. I had a choice between MW2 and that so I chose MW2.

Favourite game of all time huh.

    Hard one.

I like rock band, I think it's a brilliant game and great for getting people round and the only game I will keep going back too.

Favourite online game was Halo 2.

And favourite sandbox would be GTA4

    I just lost the game!

Re: What's your favorite game ever and what's your favorite game not yet released?

Favorite games must be something like this :

Black and white (1!), do i really have to write about that ? Everyone on here should at least know what it is.

Dungeon keeper and theme hospital, i still play them a lot the day today and i even bought theme hospital for ps3. Stick out tongue [:P]

Silent hill 2. I remember renting the first silent hill and of course i got really scared and never played it for more than about 30 min but when silent hill 2 was released i was ready for it. Amazing story and so was the graphics. The controls were really slow but it only helped the game i think, James Sunderland is still one of my fav characters in any game.

Final fantasy 7. Still the best RPG out there.

Uncharted 2. It's like everything i liked about uncharted 1 but just bigger and better in every way. The best looking game on console and i would even dare to say it looks better than crysis, no it doesn't have better texture resolution and aa but everything is so nicely done and have a much better art direction imo. The gameplay is perfectly paced, the story is nicely told, the characters are funny and there is just so many set pieces that it's amazing.

Fahrenheit/indigo prophecy. I was so amazed first time i played this (the demo), i had so many choices to do whatever i wanted. It's an adventure games with QTE for all action scenes but it works so well, the story is great until the last couple of hours of the game but that cant ruin how much i loved it.

    Psychonauts. Best platform game ever.

Broken sword and monkey island. My first adventure games and i loved them and most of the sequels.

Ico. Amazing game, so much atmosphere in that game and everything is just done so well. shadow of the collesus was also G o o d [Good] but not quite as G o o d [Good] as ico imo. Cant wait for the last guardian.

Re: What's your favorite game ever and what's your favorite game not yet released?

You can get theme hospital on the PS3!

    *rushes downstairs to start download*

My favorite game not yet released has got to be assassins creed 2, I tried not to hype myself too much about this game but I really hope they've cracked it this time because I just love the free roaming parkour of the game.

Re: What's your favorite game ever and what's your favorite game not yet released?

I like how you can tell the marginally older gamers from those who have maybe entered gaming in the last 8 or so (no special significance to that number..) years from the games they mention.

The persons who mentioned Super Mario Brothers and Zelda certainly appeals to my love of anything from the N64!

Super Mario 64, Any Legend of Zelda, Banjo Kazooie.... Ahhhhhh.

    The late 1990's were goooood.

....But can't forget Black and White 1.

Dang I left monkey island off my list, cracking game. And the original mario karts on the N64 was hilarious fun at a tournament round a mates last week. The game just doesn't look as G o o d [Good] on a 50 inch TV though.

I have two that I'm pretty torn between. Fnal Fantasy 8 on the PS1 and Star Fox 64.

Re: What's your favorite game ever and what's your favorite game not yet released?

    An impossible question.

Probably Thief 2. Or Psychonauts. Or the Tekken series. Or Bermuda Syndrome.

Dunno really. The second question is easy, not looking forward to anything. I prefer to allow games to surprise me by appearing on shelves without me knowing. I never really actively research a game before they're going to release it.

The only thing worse than beating a dead horse is betting on one.

A very G o o d [Good] idea. I enjoy reading about the games industry too much not too though. I still think there's some games that will come out without me knowing much about them and be surprising, I am Alive for example, I know the basic idea of the game, beyond that I know nothing.

Re: What's your favorite game ever and what's your favorite game not yet released?

My favorite game of all time is still Road Rash 64 (the N64 version of Road Rash 3D).  The soundtrack is great and it's hella fun!  Every time I visit my sister in Austin, I play that game for hours.

Can anyone back me up on this?

Favorite game not yet released is probably Diablo 3.

I like your style sir, but I would also add Goldeneye to that list. One of the greatest multiplayer game modes ever.

I was a small child when Road Rash was thriving.  I still had lots of fun playing it!  It was really simple and ugly, but damn! nothing these days even comes close to the greatness of the gameplay.

    Atari Jaguar, anyone?

Re: What's your favorite game ever and what's your favorite game not yet released?

    Easiest question ever.

    Favorite game?  EASY!

Super Mario Bros. 3 by far!  (NES is, for me, the greatest of all consoles)

Now for a game that is currently not out yet, well, I can't really answer that one yet since I haven't played them.

And by the way, I was a hardcore 80's gamer. Stick out tongue [:P]

Re: What's your favorite game ever and what's your favorite game not yet released?

In my very early childhood I was a big fan of One Must Fall 2097 I think the date was?

And there was another platforming game where you played a robot and there was turrets around the place and lots of enemies but I have no idea what it was called. If anyone knows a game like this from my poor description let me know.

Re: What's your favorite game ever and what's your favorite game not yet released?

No it's not a 3d game, I used to play it on the computer. I really can't remember it well enough to describe it though and it's been bugging me for years as to what it's called.

It was basically a huge side scrolling map. The game didn't scroll with you though, when you reached the edge of the area you entered the next area. And there was lots of turrets, and control panels that you could shoot on the walls.

Very vague I know, but if anyone knows what it was called I'd be greatful.
Plus I think I'm getting elements confused with the game Overkill
